First day at ULAB MSJ Department
I have joined ULAB MSJ department in Spring 2021 session during the pandemic and had to start my university life doing classes from home. I didn't have much of a campus life till now but we were called to the main permanent campus at the very beginning of our first semester so I just want to write about that.
After joining the university, we were informed that all our classes and academic activities will be held online so we all got very disappointed but we had no other option as Covid situation took a severe toll on the global health and social life at that time. Every regular activities were forced to stop and most of the things people had to do online. Similarly we also started our journey with MSJ department with classes. We met our course mate and teachers through online classes and we together formed a very formal relationship among us. This is what happens when we lack in person communication so I have no complaints about that. At the end of the first lockdown we were called by the student association of ULAB for a meet and greet session where we were informed about the campus life of ULAB. They also enlightened us about the fun we will have and the challenges we will have to face while studying at the ULAB MSJ department.
After the meet and greet, I took a tour of the campus by myself and the architecture of the permanent campus really amazed me.
